Update: We've filled this position.
We're looking for a Business Development Manager to help us grow our existing professional services business and our emerging product sales and licensing business.
We've never had (or needed) a business development person, but we understand that a concerted sales and marketing effort is essential if we're going to meet our potential as a company. At the same time, we've been cautious about hiring for this position because (let's face it) salespeople generally don't have a great reputation.
So we're looking for someone who can help us reach out to new clients and build our relationships with existing clients. Someone who has a solid foundation of experience but is willing to learn the nuances of our business. And someone who can help us grow our employees and our culture as well as our bottom line.
If this sounds like you, please drop us a line at careers [at] nform.ca.
About the Position
We are looking for someone with at least three years experience in product and service sales to bring on board new customers, strengthen our relationships with existing customers and expand our client base. Sales will be divided between professional services and licenses for our enterprise project management and collaboration product. Experience in IT software or services sales would be an asset, but not an absolute requirement.
Product marketing will also be one of the responsibilities of this position. We'd like someone who can blend traditional marketing tools with Marketing 2.0 approaches.
The successful candidate will lead the creation and executing of the sales and marketing strategy for the company and will report directly to the executive team.
