I am excited to share with you a method and fancy deliverable at CanUX this year, known as the Swimlane Document. This is the deliverable that I blogged about earlier this year, and the same one that won the IA Summit 2008 Wall of Deliverables award.
At our CanUX session I will first talk about the method and then we will work through an example together. Expect to walk away from the session with your own or a group deliverable!
(For CanUX attendees only: Please bring your cameras to the session to capture your work to show to your colleagues.)
In preparing for this session, I thought about doing another topic, actually--on ethics. As I was researching the topic, however, I became more and more depressed about how much work it was going to be to pull that off. In the meantime, Gene had asked me to reconsider doing the talk on Swimlanes. So here we are--back to doing the workshop on Swimlanes.
I look forward to seeing you all at CanUX, and I look forward to seeing the creativity and wacky ideas for this session!
